If the Alabama Shakes and The Strokes had a baby, and that baby was really into The Descendents, the baby’s name would be Sheer Mag. Hailing from Philly, Sheer Mag is the perfect soundtrack for marching through the rain from dive bar to dive bar, playing pool on tables with worn out bumpers, and nights where the difference between a $2 vs $3 ATM fee determines your ability to pull out a twenty dollar bill. 

Sheer Mag has managed to hit this impossibly small Venn diagram of musical attributes - the snottiness of punk rock, sing-along rock anthem songwriting, and a backbeat that makes you shake your ass.
